inSuit and Red Proyecto Social have signed an agreement to foster the active dissemination of web accessibility worldwide and to promote the use of tools that will guarantee access to web content and services for the elderly and persons with disabilities.
This agreement sets out a number of lines of action, including the inclusion of inSuit in the Red Proyecto Social website, several actions for dissemination at forums and events, in addition to collaboration in joint projects in line with the objectives of the agreement.
One of Red Proyecto Social’s most noteworthy projects in this regard is its Proyecto Rampa Digital (Digital Ramp Project), whose objectives include orienting and facilitating access to augmentative and alternative communication, providing access to computers and information, and fostering personal autonomy for persons affected by the “digital divide”.
