Why should accessibility evaluation be performed by an external auditor instead of web developers?

The Valencia Chamber of Commerce has chosen the inSuit tool to offer accessibility to their “Inclusive Tourism” European project website. Co-funded by European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, the project was launched with its main aim being to improve the skills of people with disabilities and professionals working in the tourism sector increasing their employability in a sector that is inclusive and accessible.
The objective of the project is to raise awareness on the employment skills of people with disabilities and promote cooperation between companies and organisations of the tourism sector that support this group of people.
This group still faces barriers, but with this “Inclusive-Tourism” project, the aim is to ensure a level playing field for people with disabilities and the elderly so that they too, can enjoy tourism activities.
More information on the project can be found on this link to the project on the Valencia Chamber of Commerce website.
