The ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Certificate is now part of inSuit’s roster of certifications and can be viewed by the public online.
As a matter of fact, in 2022, inSuit has declared its commitment to the protection of the environment through its culture of sustainably-oriented business activity and continuous improvement.
This is how we plan to minimise and reduce the environmental impact of our activities.
This commitment is motivated by our ethical standards and the various environmental requirements that today are key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
This has meant that, more and more, companies are being asked to comply with a greater number of environmental standards established by governments, customers, and civil society.
That is why our focus was on obtaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Certification.
This is the best way to control environmental impacts whilst promoting sustainable growth.
How did ISO 14001 Certification – Environmental Management Systems (EMS) come about? What is it?
In recent years, there has been growing concern among all of us in relation to environmental protection.
Global warming, climate change, and pollution are pressing issues and are now a priority worldwide.
This has led to the development of the ISO 14001 standard, a tool that promotes the direct participation of all organisations in global and environmental protection.
This initiative can be implemented in any organisation, regardless of its size, sector ,or geographic location.
This important initiative grew out of the United Nations’ 1992 Earth Summit.
First published in 1996, it saw a second edition in 2004 and its third and last edition in 2015, the latter led by the ISO 207 Technical Committee.
