In the European Union, digital accessibility has become a fundamental pillar for social inclusion and equal opportunities today.
In this context, inSuit ‘s work and commitment has been recognised and highlighted through its presence and expertise in the most relevant European and international forums, always supporting and accompanying advances in digital accessibility.
Our participation in important european projects, being one of the partners in the consortium that composes AccessCoVE, and in events such as the ‘Spanish AccessCoVE Focus Group’, the launch of AccessibleEU and the European Accessibility Summit 2024, validates and consolidates our commitment to being a digital transforming agent in both public administrations and in the private sector.
The AccessCoVE project, funded by Erasmus+ of the European Union, seeks to establish Vocational Centres of Excellence in Accessibility.
In the recent Spanish Focus Group, Carlos Izquierdo Ferrando, digital accessibility expert consultant at inSuit (Everycode), together with Ricardo Giménez from Red Proyecto Social, actively participated in the discussion and development of innovative educational programmes and new accessibility certifications.
AccessCoVE brings together twenty-two partners from Greece, Sweden, Spain and Italy to promote inclusion and accessible digitalisation.

On 4 July, inSuit also attended the inauguration of the European Resource Centre on Accessibility (AccessibleEU) in Brussels.
This centre is a key part of the European Union’s strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities for the period 2021-2030.
It aims to increase the coherence of accessibility policies, monitor compliance and facilitate access to relevant knowledge on accessible design and development.

Last but not least, on 7 May 2024, inSuit participated in the 4th European Accessibility Summit, organised by the European Disability Forum (EDF) in partnership with Microsoft, an event that took place in Brussels.
This hybrid event brought together leaders from the disability movement, industry and policy makers to discuss progress and challenges in accessibility.
